Use Your Templates

Details on how to use your forms and reports in Marine Survey.

Firstly to get your forms or reports working within Marine Survey, please send me a copy in Word format.

If there is a cost for making the Marine Survey template, I will let you know in advance.

I will make sure the template works perfectly with Marine Survey.

I will email the Marine Survey template to you.

Below describes the different ways to get the template into Marine Survey ready for use.

AirDrop

Enable AirDrop on the device ensuring it is visible to the Mac Computer.

AirDrop the Marine Survey template from the Mac Computer to the device.

Accept the AirDrop.

Open with Marine Survey.

Marine Survey will check the template to ensure there are no errors.

Marine Survey will prompt if a template of the same name exists. If you do not wish to overwrite the existing template, press cancel. Change the Word document name and send again to the device.

Press OK, and that’s it. Your template is in Marine Survey and ready to use.

Open From Email

Open email attachment.

Tap once to get the action button in the top right.

Press the action button.

Open with Marine Survey.

Marine Survey will check the template to ensure there are no errors.

Marine Survey will prompt if a template of the same name exists. If you do not wish to overwrite the existing template, press cancel. Change the Word document name and send again to the device.

Press OK, and that’s it. Your template is in Marine Survey and ready to use.

Open From DropBox

Find the template in DropBox.

Open the template.

Press the action button in the top right.

Select the “Open With” app icon.

Open with Marine Survey.

Marine Survey will check the template to ensure there are no errors.

Marine Survey will prompt if a template of the same name exists. If you do not wish to overwrite the existing template, press cancel. Change the Word document name and send again to the device.

Press OK, and that’s it. Your template is in Marine Survey and ready to use.
